Discomfort is the price of admission

to a meaningful life.

The New Moon signifies the beginning of eclipse season. It also indicates the start of an energetic shift within the Earth's vibration. You may already be experiencing feelings of discomfort, unease, fatigue, and fear. The discomfort of this deep transformational process is the price that we pay for a better and more aware world. There is no turning back; the baby is already in the birth canal. And, as in natural childbirth, we are entering a time of unknowns, feelings of grief/joy/pain, and no ending in sight.

Yes, the baby finally arrives, but it does so in its own time and at its own pace. Will the baby be worth the gestation symptoms of discomfort, upset, and potential stretch marks? Does the pain endured during delivery eventually give us a beautiful gift? Well, only time will tell. There are no guarantees.

I am a mystic, not a spiritual scholar. This means that I have been guided to unknown spiritual doors all my life. The door has been provided, but without a book of instructions, a map, or accident insurance. Usually, I have been given a choice (but not always) whether to open the door or not. As a curious person, I am often tempted to open these doors, with varying results, but I am constantly growing through the experiences. Everyone is different, and I respect and admire other forms of wisdom journeys. Some of you are wise scholars, carriers of spiritual traditions, and loving healers. Many times, I have wished to be other than a mystic. It is not an easy ride, but, wow, I have learned a lot!

I have shared my experience of being a mystic because an Energetic Door has now appeared to all of us. And this door demands our attention. And, in many ways, we all have to become mystics to deal with this particular gateway. There is no way of knowing what lies within it, and the spiritual tools that we have cultivated throughout our lives will be tested. They may, or may not, work. Much like farmers who are forced to go to sea, some of their skills support the ocean journey, while specific tools need to be adjusted, and new knowledge must be acquired. The uncertainty of this adventure requires adaptability and resilience.

What is certain is that you have gained the courage, strength, and confidence to navigate the new rhythms and challenges that arise during a sea journey. The spiritual muscles and grounding that you have developed by ploughing your "fields" will serve you well. You know how to adapt and go with the flow! Just as you have mastered farming, you can now embrace the opportunity to become the best sailor you can be.

The Price of Admission to open this Door is discomfort. However, one of the rewards is the joy and beauty of a new adventure and movement. This door is fated (not necessarily one of our choice), so be willing to open it with hearts wide open and firm feet.

And, with all sea journeys, travel light. Don't try to load your boat with excess baggage, especially Ancestor Karma, toxic relationships, and past hurts. Be willing to repack your suitcase with what you need, not what you are attached to. The boat will sink if it is too heavy with outdated burdens and beliefs. Letting go of what no longer serves you is necessary for a successful journey.

At this time, there can be no retreat or denial. It is happening. As always, stay practical, one step at a time. The pioneers of our world get up every morning, put on their shoes, and do their best, setting the intention to align with their highest good. The pioneer will set goals, but is always willing to adjust and reevaluate their goals when necessary. Become the best Pioneer Mystic that you can be! Practicality and adaptability are key in this spiritual journey. Aligning with your highest good empowers you throughout the experience.

I also have to adjust my energy to Earth's new vibration! I am not much pleased by this situation, but I have survived (and thrived) by being Earth's neighbour, friend and sometimes lover for eons. The Universe has sent me a firm message to accept this change with grace and determination. I am independent and prefer to do things my way, but in this profound time of transformation, it is to my benefit to align with the new energies. Who knows, the whole Universe may be transforming! However, I keep my attention focused on what is happening in my own neighbourhood and among my alliances. A new door has now appeared with my name on it, so I will soon open it. I suggest that you do the same.
