The key is to transform its control over you (the trigger) rather than trying to fully heal the wound itself. Be practical rather than emotional. The trigger may be physical. I unexpectedly experienced Luna's Tough Love through a "nut attack." I sat in a peaceful, natural spot that had always felt nurturing and healing (though not as much lately). As I sat on the bench, the place seemed particularly unwelcoming. Squirrels started shaking the tree above me. A shower of nuts came down, and one hit me on my head. It hurt, and I felt dazed afterwards. I was shaken because I thought it was a sacred place and felt attacked. My victim wound was activated.

Using spiritual tools, I started unravelling the wisdom of the "Nut Attack." I need to be more aware and "read the room," so to speak. My lesson is that places (and people) that were a comfort to me in the past may no longer be so. And it is no one's fault. The power grids are moving, and we are asked to move with them. That location is no longer a power spot for me, and I don't need to know why—only that I need to move to other power places. It was a perfect spot when I was sad and grieving, but I am no longer in that place. I feel good!

The squirrels taught me a much-needed lesson. I have a trigger that makes me feel like a victim, and it's important not to blame others for it. The trigger may always be there, but I have the emotional tools to deal with it. The squirrels were hungry, and the bench was no longer a supportive spot for me. The entire experience has shown me that I have grown and become stronger in my life. It was Luna's SuperMoon Tough Love.

This is an example of what may be happening in your life. Be clear and practical. Avoid the blame game and use the experience to grow and learn from it. Chaos is like a stormy sea. Wise and courageous captains can navigate the waves with knowledge and emotional control. You will likely feel unwelcome emotions, but take a few deep breaths before reacting. Don't see enemies, but embrace the Tough Love Teachers that Spirit sends you.
